Solar boat charters
Your own solar-electric boat, by the hour, half day or full day. Go where the loop does not, like the NCC River House and Casino Lac-Leamy.
- $150 per hour for up to 6 guests
- $25 per hour for each extra guest, 12 maximum

Where can I go with the water taxi?
Aqua Taxi connects attractions on both the Ontario and Quebec shores of the Ottawa River: the Ottawa Locks below Parliament Hill, the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau and Richmond Landing near the Canadian War Museum. Charters also go to the NCC River House and Casino Lac-Leamy.
What are the ticket options and prices?
Parliament Loop single ride $9 per person one way; Hop-On Hop-Off all-day pass $20 (three one-way rides); Loop Excursion $25 non-stop; 10-Ride Pass $60. Book online or buy at any dock.
Are your boats eco-friendly?
Yes. Our boats are fully electric and powered by solar technology, with zero emissions on the Ottawa River.
Can I bring my bike, stroller or pet?
Yes. Regular-size bikes and strollers are $2. Pets, wheelchairs and children under 2 ride free. Extra charges may apply for oversized items or excess cargo.
When does Aqua Taxi run?
The season runs from mid-May to mid-October. The Parliament Loop sails daily from 11 am to 7 pm, and charters from 9 am to 7 pm.
Do I need to book ahead?
Not for the Parliament Loop: tickets are sold at every dock. For Dinner on the River and charters, reservations are recommended.
